I joined Rhiti's drawing class in Jan 2022. Since then, there has been no looking back. Rhiti is very talented. She first talks about the history, the well-known painters of each art form & then the 'do's& don'ts' and how to actually proceed. She is very soft spoken and patient; she repeats the instructions if requested to again. While praising and encouraging the students, she also politely points out any mistakes. She is always smiling & fresh.
Thank you Rhiti for introducing me to so many various art forms. You are a very good teacher and a wonderful human being.
4 years ago, in 2021, I started learning art. I remember being so impressed with the way Rhiti conducted the class. I had never drawn anything before and as such was apprehensive, but she put me at ease with her gentle demeanour and inclusiveness. Despite being so knowledgeable in her field, she remains humble and provides a safe space for creativity. And what once started as a hobby has turned into a passion all thanks to Rhiti. 4 years on, I am still learning new art forms with her... So many varieties of Indian folk art and international folk art and contemporary art forms... And she is evolving as well... She learns and masters newer art forms and shares it with her students. She also gives opportunities for exhibiting our work with her annual online and offline exhibition. This experience with Rhiti has brought such immense joy to me, broadened my perspective and taught me to see beauty everywhere. For this, I am grateful to Rhiti and I hope more and more people are able to experience it as well.
"I'm deeply grateful to Rhiti Chatterjee Bose, my art teacher of over 2 years, who has guided me from beginner to advanced level. Her passion, patience, and expertise have unlocked my creativity, introducing me to diverse art forms, including Folk, Tribal, Urban, National, and International styles. Her guidance and encouragement have made art a source of joy and relaxation. I'm inspired by her teaching style, which brings out the best in students. Thank you, Rhiti, for sharing your talent and nurturing my love for art!"
My art journey with Rhiti began in 2021, right in the middle of the COVID lockdown, and it's now year four and going strong!
I couldn't have found a better teacher than Rhiti. Her love for various art forms is evident in the passion with which she explains each drawing we undertake. She is extremely meticulous yet patient, always guiding her students to get the best out of them.
I especially enjoy our Indian folk art classes; it's always delightful to learn the history and evolution of each form.
Wishing more power, love, and luck to Rhiti and Artisana!
Learning from Rhiti is pure joy. Her guidance and insightful feedback have not only improved my skills but also reignited my love for art. Highly recommend her classes!
Learning with Rhiti has been a joyful enriching experience! After a busy week at work the Sunday class is relaxing and refreshing!
I was feeling a bit insecure before the Art classes as making art isn’t my usual territory. I instantly get relieved when I meet Rhitii and welcomes through the door into her art class. She took all my fears away of being new to art. We are all creative, but we forget to play as adults, and get addicted to being busy. Art is a process of letting go and not being a slave to your inner critic. Rhiti takes great care in ensuring everyone is included, and has the opportunity to express themselves authentically. I loved connecting with the other women. It was a really beautiful way to de-stress at the end and loved making art in the process. Thank you Rhiti, still there's a lot more to learn from you 🙂
I have been learning art under Rhiti Di, the founder of Artisana, for more than 2 years now.Through her, I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience in this field. The expertise she holds in this field is beyond my explanation, the true essence of which can only be known through her art. She gave me a debut in the world of art by providing me an opportunity to showcase my art in an exhibition in the Lalit Kala Academy. She is not only my art teacher but also my friend, philosopher and guide who guided me to identify my true self through art.
With more than four years of my association, I have picked numerous art forms but more than that I have a better understanding of art, its history and ethics that not many talk about. Her attitude as a teacher inspires me to be a better student and I hope that in the years to come I can be worthy of a teacher like her.
It's an absolute privilege that I was able to showcase some of my art under the guidance of the distinguished art educator Rhiti Chatterjee Bose. It's an honour to learn so many art forms from her. She would not only show how different forms of art are created but she would also educate us with a backdrop story behind every artforms. I'm really amazed to see such a burst of talent in her which comes out through her art. My long lost love for art re-lived because of you. Apart from art I have learnt patience, perseverance and calmness from you which shaped me as a person within a short span of time. Thank you for being such an amazing human being.
